2005 S40 T5 SE Lux
As title unfortunately due to pending redundancy and potentially having a much longer commute to work I'm very sadly going to have to consider selling my pride and joy in favour of satins fuel, my 12 mile a day trip to work is potentially going to change to about 50 :-( so as much as I get decent mpg for the type of car it is (average 29-30mpg) its going to become too expensive to run it.
I'm the third owner of the car (first being a garage for 6mths presume a demo) then a lady owner until I got the car January last year. Its a 2005 (54reg) S40 T5 in sapphire black. It has pretty much every option available on a 2005 car, auto wipers, winter pack (heater leather), Xenons, Premium sound (6cd with sub, amp, & surround sound), Phone via a simcard in the glovebox, sunroof, rear parking sensors, rear lip spoiler, shopping compartment in the boot, auto dimming rear mirror, full electrics mirrors/roof/windows. The car is in very good condition and has covered approx 83k with a very good service history. In the 12 months I've owned it, its had 3 oil changes, a coolant flush and replacement (was due on the service), brake fluid change new rear discs and pads, new plugs, K&N air filter, and on wednesday its booked in to have the 320 calipers and new discs and pads fitted on the front. I also recently (April) had a new LUK clutch Kit fitted (including the little slave cylinder) and a new DMF. During my ownership I have also done the following mods:- OEM Front Strut brace fitted K&N Panel Filter Plain Grill with LED running lights Reurbished 17" OEM alloys (in Titanium) as new with 215/45/R17 fitted with loads of tread left Rear bumper protector Boot Liner R-Design Steering wheel fitted R-Design Aluminium Pedal Covers R-Desing Aluminium Gear Knob LED sidelights Stage 1 Shark Remap (to about 255BHP) (car can be supplied with or without the remap installed) Upgraded 320 Caliper, Discs, & pads If I get what I'm after for the car it will go as is, if I can't the R Design interior mods (wheel, pedals, gear knob) will be returned to standard and will be sold separately. For an extra £200 I will let the hand held tuning device go with the car, that will allow the new user to add/remove the map at will. The car has wanted for nothing during the time I have owned it and I have always had it service/worked on at volvo specialists, either Volvomax, or Voltech and paul (@voltech has always comented on the condition of the car) Its currently on a private plate T50 DPW, which I will probably take to my new car, unless the new owner really wants it. Anyway here's some pics bumper protector Couple of new grill Just up for interest at the minute will know for definate at the end of this week/start of next week if I need to sell..... I'm gutted as I love the car but its looking like my commute may be going from 60 miles a week to about 50 a day so if it happens can't really justify the added fuel costs, forgot to add, its got front wind deflectors, rear volvo sun shades & a pumaspeed lower gear box mount.

Right unfortunately I think the T5 is going to have to make way for a more economical car, I have been made redundant and I've got a new job (phew!) but its going to change my commute from 12 miles a day 3 times a week to 45 miles 5 days a week, so even though I'm average about 30-31mpg its just going to be too expensive I love the car its the best I've had and I'll be really sad to see it go but need must and all that...
So basically for sale as is £2900 (including soft loader to add and remove the map), or £2500 with the R-design extras removed and without the softloader, this is basically the trade in value I've been offered and if its being traded in all the extras will be removed. Feel free to come a view the car I'm based in glasgow you won't be dissappointed its a lovely car... |

Good luck with the sale. P.S. Out of interest, are the top 2 photos taken by the A82 above Urqhaurt Castle (Loch Ness Side)? I oversaw the installation of rock fall netting on the cliffs above the road just south of there last summer and looks familiar!

I'm gutted to be honest I love the T5 best spec car I've ever had and the remap makes it a beast, but sadly its just not going to be financial viable for me with the extra mileage, will definately be staying with a volvo :-)
Yep first 2 pic are from loch ness we did a mini tour of scotland last summer... |

NEW LOWER PRICE
So basically for sale as is £2700 (your choice if you want the MAP on or Off), or £2400 with the R-design extras removed and without the softloader. If no one is interested it will be getting traded in, in the next few weeks which is a shame as its way too good for the auctions...... Have to say I went to see am indentical black 2008 S40 D5 with similar mileage and mine was head and shoulder above it both interior and exterior wise |

I will be interested in the gear knob if you want to take it out. Or I will be willing to exchange if you are - provided it is a 6 speed.
