XC 60 ride
Just changed wifes xc70 for an xc60 lux with 18" wheels, and find the ride too firm for my dodgy neck. Can I swop for 17" rims without problems, and what about the 16" wheels with winter tyres I read about somewhere?

You can change with no problem and there is someone who wants 18" wheels in the wanted section.

I think that 17" is the smallest that Volvo supply for the XC60, and I am not sure that you will see a lot of difference between the 17" and 18" - I know that I do not see much (any) when I change to the 17" winter tyres from the 18" summer

For the xc60 the smallest permitted rims seem to be 17 inch. However, there is quite a range of recommended tyre pressures. Something at the softer/lower end of the range may help.
