Volvo V40 1999 (T reg) 1.8 Automatic 5 door estate - for sale for parts or repair

Having to sell for parts or repair as the automatic gear box is faulting intermittently - the warning light comes on, and then the car struggles with starting and with hills. Sometimes it runs fine though! This would be a great cheap car for someone who would be happy to tinker about with and repair the automatic gear box.

Blue, some scratches (can supply photos).

MOT till September 2017.

Has had regular annual service prior to the MOT, as well as an interim service each March or thereabouts. Had new timing belt a few years back.

Just had new radiator and oil cooler fitted at cost of around £500. I thought this had sorted the problem out, but apparently not. It ran ok for a week or so, and then the problem started again.

I can show paperwork for all that has been done on it.

One owner prior to my Dad who used it as a local runaround. I inherited it from my Dad in 2010 and have been driving it ever since, doing around 8,000 miles per annum. There is 155,670 miles on the clock.

Comes with boot liner and mats (not official Volvo ones) bought new a few years back.

Has handbook.

Well, we've sold one or two wipers!

Without the mats, we'd be willing to let it go for £200 or near offer.
