  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Crankshaft sensor location

Hi can anyone tell me where the crankshaft position sensor is on a 2005 xc90 d5 I could be blind but can not seem to locate at all thanks

right at the top near the engine cylinder head close in to the block

Not really, you can find it by feel so not easy to photograph. Its on the top where the gearbox meets the engine , there maybe a thick water hose going past it hiding it.

Default C70 D5 2008 crankshaft position sensor location photos.

I hope these photos help someone like myself who found it a nightmare trying to find this sensor.
