XC40 Map Update - USB Flash drive Compatability - INFO ONLY

This is just for future reference as I realise this topic has been highlighted before...

I'd read about the 64gb max USB stick/flash drive size stipulation by Volvo but wondered whether that was purely because the speed/performance of sticks of a few years ago were inferior to today's. So I tried my new Samsung Bar plus 128GB 3.1 stick yesterday and it worked flawlessly. It was preformatted as exFAT.

I downloaded the latest NW Europe map update (version 1443) as per Volvo instructions, inserted stick in USB without white frame (but that's irrelevant) and it took about 30-40 mins I guess. Prompted me to turn engine off to finalise installation. When engine turned on again it took about 5 mins or so to load the updated satnav from what was version 1253 to 1443. Job done.

p.s During installation there wasn't any progress indicator other than little circle top right of Sensus screen and message that it was installing update on notification screen.
