Default Voc app functions not working most of the time

A few weeks back the problems started occurring. No matter what I do - whether trying to start the car and error " after 2 times, you need to start with a key".

Or where trying to unlock and the app saying "could not unlock" or something like this

I have tried reinstalling it, and sometimes it is working correctly, but most of the time, it throws some sort of an error. Has anyone experienced this?

Seems it might be due to the onboard Sim not having a good signal. Outside the house, mine is perfect. But it won't respond at my daughter's. When I checked the centre display I could see it reporting 5 bars for my phone but nothing for the Sim (which is Three)

On this image you can see the two signal graphs at the top left.
The one on the very left is the number of bars of signal strength for the connected phone. Along from that you can see an icon for a Sim Card with the number of bars to its right.

I don't have onboard sim installed. Volvo on call is working separately from it anyway (otherwise, how could it have worked before and even now sporadically works
