I have been looking for a S90 around 30K miles, but there are so few that i am now considering higher mileage cars. There are a few available around 50k miles and id like to know what to look out for or any hing that will likely need replacement. Any advice appreciated

I’ve run mine up to 73k with no issues. Just routine tyres and brakes. Look for one with a full service history… buying from Volvo should give you a seleckt warranty too

Ignoring my current car, I've had a number of Volvo models and haven't ever had any significant issues below about 90k miles.

High mileage isn't necessarily a bad thing. It means the car has done longer trips, rather than tootling around town hitting bumps and potholes. Not that motorways are pothole free, but the car with higher mileage has been driven at higher speeds = good for the DPF.

50,000 is nothing anyway. Not even "run in".

Thanks for those responses. I guess I was looking for some reassurance, which y'all provided
