Default 17" or Galaxies

Toying with the idea of putting 17" wheels in the 940 but they all need spacers.
So by the time I purchase the wheels and spacers, I could just about afford a decent set of Galaxies which I really like as they have a bit of a rim/dish to them and are an original option.
What would you do?

I love Galaxies - but they do not go over a 302 conversion.

16" all the way for a daily driver, especially galaxies.

I got hub adapters for £100 from states and a set of jap fitment 18's for about 50 quid second hand I think you will struggle to find galaxies for that price plus if you smash one on a pot hole its will be a nightmare to get another.

Take your point Gordon, they aren't that easy to find and for what you paid I couldn't even find a set of 17" rims in decent nick.

Pete & Roger - agree about Galaxies, they do look good, I don't have a big brake conversion and am worried about 17" on a daily driver inc winter unless I put the current 15" rims (with Michy Alpin5) back on in October.
might just keep my eyes and ears open for the Galaxies.....
