Default Thinking of fitting these wheels....

I was initially planning to sell my Rota SDR wheels, but now i am thinking to keep them. I will need to refurb them, buy 20mm wheel spacers, and tyres.

What do you think?

Not so sure that one will repair?

Other than that, they look nice wheels and with a refurb I think they would look nice on the car. What colour would you go for after a refurb?

You do get some nice Volvo sets go on ebay for a good price (if that wheel is not repairable), some of the two tone (diamond cut) alloys are realy nice but can cost later when they then need a refurb. SOme people prefer to stick to normal powder coated sing tone. I particularly like anthracite as a colour for black cars.

There is someone selling a brand new set of alloys in the sales section from a C30 which are 2 tone. They are extremely nice but as they are so new with tyres they are expensive.

Thanks, the colour on the wheels are black not sure what paint code it is.
I found a few repairers in Bristol that may repair the buckled wheel, so will go around and ask today. Might respray the rims in anthracite or gloss black, but don't know which colour should I respray the lip, Chrome or Red? I will look on the sale section C30 wheels.

I will fit 225/45/17 tyres, camskill sell Nankangs NS2 for around £200.

That seems a fairly big chunk that has come off.
I wouldn't have any confidence driving on that if it was repaired.

Not going to fit them straight away, going today to get some quotes.
The buckled wheel isn't cracked, but you never know.

I agree with Sony, two tone grey/diamond cut alloys suit black cars.
I have a set of C70 Midir alloys to go on my V50 in the summer.

No chance would I drive on that wheel again. Alloy wheel repairers will often "repair" damage like that but it will never again have the structural rigidity it was cast with. That's a scrap metal job IMO.

Been to a few places to repair the buckled wheel, but no luck. Most of them said they won't be able to so it. I know a place called Lepsons somewhere up north that will be able to do it.

Still on the hunt of looking for wheel shop to repair and refurb these wheels.
On the other hand I've been quoted £250 to refurb my current and powder coat them in Gunmetal grey, My alloys based in Bristol.

I personally would go Lepsons having seen plenty of their work.

I found a few in Bristol, I've been quoted £50-£100 to repair the damaged wheel and a refurb. Will need to allow 5-10 days to get it repaired, I will call Lepsons and speak to them.
