Default condenser leak - troubleshoot + difficult to replace ?

Dear all,

I have a leak on my Aircon system. It seems to be an intermediate size leak: it lost 350g compared to 700g, in a bit less than 3 month.

I went to a big car repair chain (Norauto in france, not AC aircon experts, only basic work), and they look for the leak with the UV lamp. They spotted a small tracer spot (5x4cm) at the bottom of the condenser, and saw nothing less (in 15 minutes inspection from the top of the car). The guy seemed to be surprised buy how much gas had been lost compared to what he had seen...

1) Would 350g in 3 month cope with a small leak, or in your idea should there be another leak somewhere (not funny to have the repair done in several steps...) ?

2) Is it possible to repair this type of small/intermediate leak without replacing parts (special sealant product...)

3) Is changing the condenser on a V70 D5 from 2006 a difficult job (once the circuit emptied) ? How long should it be ? I heard that it could be replaced without remonving the bumper. Is it confirmed ?

4) Is ther a known brand for the Volvo condenser or what are the official OEM products ?

Thanks for your help,

Kind regards,

JMF
