Default Towbars to where?

Has anyone fitted a towsure towbar themselves?
Can anyone recommend a company to use?
Is Bosal better that Witter, etc, etc

I have an 850 T5 and would like a detachable towbar.

I have used Towsure for many years and remember when they were a very small outfit.

I think these people on the following link are slightly better for just a towbar and electrics etc. They do detachables and are very good for advice for the inexperienced.

Cant beat towsure for all the extra little bits for trailers etc.

Hi,

I recently got a Brink towbar for my V90 from towbar man on ebay ( Linky.. Is Towequipe)

The instructions state remove the lower bumper trim as it will not fit and is no longer required.
When fitting though I check to see the clearance and there was ample room for the towbar to pass without either removal or cutting.

The towbar on my 940 had the lower trim removed, but needn't have - it could have been cut. Have the trim and just need the inclination to refit following cutting..

I would offer up the towbar into position and check whether the trim needs either cutting or complete removal.
It could also be that the trim need to be cut so as to split it, but could still be retained. Useing a couple of extra clips or screws..

Des. . .
