Over the last few months BSR UK have speaking to customers old and new, and have come to the conclusion whilst BSR PPCs not only offer a fantastic product in terms of what it can do and the service that this quality Swedish company offers it has been felt generally that the product was not priced correctly to compete in the UK market.

So it is now time for a change, and in a market where prices only seem to be rising, BSR have agreed to DECREASE the price of their PPCs to enable them to compete, so with immediate effect all PPC Stage 1 tuning is now £499 inc VAT I plus £10 shipping British Isles only, unfortunatley we are unable to supply outside the British Isles.

Is there an upgrade route from the BSR PPC1 to the newest version?

Is your softwares throttle mapping still **** poor out of interest? The only car I have driven that was worse was a VXR Astra.

Software is still written in Sweden AFAIK - BSR_UK on here + on his website is just a "reseller" really I think? Not really "his" maps .. but I know where you are coming from - I can be at 100% throttle by about 70% pedal movement.

Its a bit worrying, having looked at the price for a Stage1 map for my R AWD (I already have one, just looking at prices .. ) its £499, £450 of that is the PPC3 loader - making the map itself £49!

Thanks for your feedback, but i am a little unsure where you are getting your figures from.

The standard price of a PPC is approx £150.

The PPC3 with software in europe is approx 748 Euros however in the UK BSR are selling them for £499 inc VAT this includes the software for the vehicle and includes 2 year support and engine warranty.

So lets say the PPC is £150 so that makes the software £349 all prices quoted are including VAT.

I dont think i have missed the point, but if i have please advise.

If you wanted to upgrade your PPC1 to the latest unit we are able to do this the cost would be £240 inc VAT, i think your vehicle would be upgraded to a PPC3 which can be upgraded to a fault code reader, which will also eliminate engine management lights for just £45 inc VAT.

If the price for the PPC is £150, why would it cost me £240 to upgrade?

Am I getting the "Diagnostic" system and the "Tuning" system mixed up?

Yes, i believe you may be confusing the two, the Diagnostic System is £445 inc VAT This is a little confusing, why they couldnt have called "PPC Diagnostic system", it would make it a little easier to understand. Just out of interest we have sold quite a few of these recently its quite a powerful bit of kit. I believe it can even rewind calipers (i have to confirm this)

The PPC 3 Tuning box, is £150 and they make a charge to reload the the updated software for your vehicle in this case its £90 inc VAT which realistically is only £75 before the government takes their cut, this also gives you 12 months software support and access to anymore software changes.

lol........ the stg 3 kit is more than my T5 is worth!!

the pricing on stg 1 does however compete better against the other tuning outfits.
