Default Which rods and Pistons to go for?

Has anyone bought some aftermarket Rods and Pistons or which are reccomended.
Some links or advice would be good as I'm building up my list of engine mods and improvements to get me up to around 350bhp.
If you could pick your parts what would you have?
Turbo
Intercooler
Rods and Pistons
Brake set up
Suspension.
It may take me many months to get it all together but hey,we can dream.
Regards.

Fingers crossed you research upgrades better than you research clamp meters.

Nice!

Sorry though, can't help you much in that case. I'm more familiar with the 2.5T T5 which shares parts with the Focus RS and hence a reasonable choice of forged rods and pistons (some of these running upwards of 600bhp!). Have you tried Don at Kalmar Union?

Wouldn't even bother pulling the bottom end apart at that power target.

So the rods are good for up to 350bhp then without changing them?

I wouldn't ask any more from them, and I'd be a little conservative on the boost low in the revs, but it should be fine. Unless you've got money to spend for a piece of mind ☺
