safari type roofrack , doesnt extend to the bumpers , but its plenty big enough

That must surely be a Clitheroe Trade Rack, beloved of antique dealers in the 1980s. It's the real thing. The company are still in business and can supply replacement clamps, or even a full new rack at a full price.

They were selling secondhand for silly low prices but I haven't seen so many of them on fleaBay for some time. They might be becoming harder to find?
