refurb'd 16" Satellite wheels and A+ all season tyres
Just putting some feelers out - would anyone be interested in buying my 16" Satellite wheels, fitted with low mileage Hankook 205/55x16 94V K4S2 all season tyres ?
The wheels were refurbed in a cloudy 'black chrome' powder coat back in April and are perfect. The tyres have done maybe 3k miles and again are damage free. I'll check the tread depth later if there is any interest. These Hankook K4S2s are one of the best all season tyres out there - see https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/...t-Overview.htm This package cost me around £1k (yes, honestly) as the wheels were imported from Arizona (IIRC) as 16" Satellites were not offered in the UK, just the 17" ones. I specifically wanted the 16" US version for the better ride quality. I'd be looking for at least £600 as the tyres currently cost around £65 each plus each wheel must be worth £100. I'm only selling as I want to refurb my Volans wheels and put those back on. Thanks for looking.

I'm having the Volans refurbed next week hopefully, so these will be available after that... If nobody here is interested I'll stick them on eBay.
Cheers

Apologies for being off-topic, but was the photograph of your grey 850R per chance taken at Ascog Bay on the Isle of Bute?

Some pics etc here if you're interested - https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showp...&postcount=127 Iceonfire - I'm asking £600 for the set of four wheels/tyres. You cannot get 16" Satellites in the UK, I had to import them from the US at great expense, and they were refurbished back in March IIRC - they are still in superb condition. 16s ride a lot better than 17s, which is why I bought them, and the Hankook tyres are superb, particularly in the current weather! Cars were all over the place on the snow & ice yesterday, but the 850R was still sure footed and utterly dependable.
