Default V60 rattle under rear seats

Has anyone ever had a rattle coming from under the rear seats in their V60?

It sounds like something rolling around which moves from side to side when cornering.

I have stripped the back of the car out today, removed everything from the boot along with the rear seat cushion and it seems to be coming from under the metal round about the fuel tank area.

Anyone had similar issues?

yes I did.......mine was more of a rattle but not over bumpy roads (!!!) and I pretty much narrowed it down to the bottom bar where the seat hinges, dealer said there was play there but not particularly excessive .....but then added that to get to it would entail a LOT of work stripping out seat cushions and the like and they would need the car for several days with no guarantee of a cure.
Best advice was to live with it and see if it got any worse......which I did and it didnt, then, just like the toothache that you've had for weeks disappears at the dentist the rattle stopped and never returned up until I sold the car.

strange ....
