Default metallic squeaking sound over uneven surfaces

Hi guys

I've got a MY07 S80, and over the last few weeks there's been a very annoying squeaking noise coming from the front passenger side when traversing uneven road surfaces.

You can hear it both inside the car, and when the passenger window is down from the outside too.

Any idea's as to where I should be looking?

Cheers for any advice!

Any ideas guys?

It's driving me nuts hearing it when the sunroof or passenger windows are open

A very, very long time ago, my cousin had the exact problem you describe and it was a shock absorber or spring causing the problem, if memory serves me right it was a dry shock. Not sure if shocks have changed much but may be worth checking.

thanks for the feedback.

I was thinking it might be that, as today I was driving into the work car park over some of those small black and yellow speed humps and all the wheels seemed to "bounce nicely" apart from the front passenger side, which was a bit "hard and flat".
