Today I have ordered my new car. Up to ten days ago it was going to be an XC60 but the bigger boot with seats 6&7 folded quickly changed my mind as I am disabled. Just the wait now☹️

Hi Dohnut,
Sorry for the slow reply. I have gone for the T8 Ultimate in Crystal White and charcoal interior. The delivery date has been indicated as the 31st October, this year 🤣. I did check build times online and they indicate 12 - 18 months now!!! So I rang the dealer who said my delivery is now end of August to early September, but he did say take that with a pinch is salt. 🤣🤣🤣 We will see Bob. Interesting, I've also ordered a T8 Ultimate, order placed Saturday 24th April... Not had an estimated delivery date yet

I wouldn’t be able to do this. I like to walk in and out with a car. Usually go for nearly new. But sounds like a great spec. Enjoy the anticipation…

It is at the dealers but it will be a while as I am away with the wife so won’t be able to collect for a week to ten days. Some have said wait until Sept and the new reg but I doubt the dealer will allow that and I can’t wait that long, anyway I intend to keep the car for a long time.

It is 10 years since my last new car. Only sold that car because it was a manual. |
