I've tried using this a few times, my V90 has a genuine Volvo tow bar and electrics. I connect the caravan/trailer with the ignition off, get in the car and turn the ignition on and get the message below, but whatever I press I cannot get the function to start. None of the steering wheel buttons move the cursor up to highlight "check the lamps". I can't find any information in the manual on how to use this function, anyone know?

Not sure if this will help Agree with you this looks simple but usually get the wife to check just in case. |

Thanks, I had assumed it was all done and displayed on the dashboard, I didn't realise I had to get out and look at the back of the caravan. I'll also continue to let my wife check, that way I don't get wet if it's raining!

Did it the old fashioned way where i did all the lights manually from within the car and the mrs stood out of sight in a blind spot telling me they were all working... ![]() |
