audio tip
when you're next on your own in the car, turn the fade to 1 step away from maximum rear, turn the bass up a bit and the volume as loud as you dare, and enjoy!
sounds great in a pre-sensus without sub.

What I really miss in my car is an "Auto" mode for best listening position in addition to of the the manual driver, passenger og back seat setting. After all, the XC60 knows where people are sitting in the car. When I am alone in the car the (non-existent) auto mode would have been very useful.
When optimized for the drivers seat, the sound is so much better (but not so good for the passengers). I am sure Auto mode could have been implemented by Volvo by a software update, at least in the Sensus models. If they really wanted to, that is. Aside from that, I like my Premium Sound with the powerful sub but I find myself still struggeling finding a good general equalizer setting in the mid range. A combination of the old Premium Sound Dynaudio and the new double sub would have been nice.. |

that's a really good idea. my settings are different for when i have a passenger and/ or people in the back. it would be so good not to have to fiddle with the settings each journey the pessenger make-up is different. did you have this on a previous car?

No, I have never heard about it, but I am quite sure that my idea regarding Automatic Position Adjustment is not new.
Let's hope that Volvo is reading this forum and implements a future APA function. |
