I've never ordered from AliExpress, heard some bad things, do you trust it/the seller? How long did it take to arrive? Where you based?

I would add another question asking whether your AliExpress purchase was subject to a customs charge when it arrived here in the UK?

Orders from overseas always look good until you get hit by an HMRC levy and then the Royal Mail charge you an extra £8+(no idea what the latest charge is) to tell you that they have the parcel, it is subject to HMRC and here is our bill for holding it. I'm not sure what the current value triggers HMRC interest but I've always had £15 in my head.

I ordered recently and am very happy indeed. The charger works great and is an excellent fit. No issues with Aliexpress other than getting a bunch of junk mail after. I was not charged tax either.

Came within 2 weeks I recall and during full lockdown. No additional customs / postage charges. I'd no issues buying again in fact I subsequently bought some Volvo branded and packaged front and rear mudflaps identical to dealer ones paid total of £35 delivered for both sets versus the £80+ x2 that the dealer wants before fitting charges!

Not sure why the shape/size of the carplay has much to do with this thread...

I bought one of the featured chargers from eBay in the end, I wanted the protection from PayPal in the end...

But I'm happy to report it works perfectly, I can recommend it!! Let me know if any one has any questions.

Does this device display the song that is playing in the drivers instument cluster screen as well as on the Sensus screen?

Yes it does. Carplay display and functionality is exactly the same as the wired connection.
