SPA Phone Wireless Charging Solution

For anyone wanting a wireless charging solution for their car and have been afraid to randomly buy from China, I can confirm that this one works! (See attached thumbnails).
I've had it fitted to my car for a while now with no problems. For anyone interested, there's another on on eBay at https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volvo-XC9...r/154034608109

Just a shame the slider has to be open for the phone

I've got one of these adaptors for my Car Play, and the wireless charger too. Works a treat! I timed it today, it takes no more than 30 seconds for the whole system to be up and running from getting in the car.

all, just wondering if anyone else has bought one of these Qi chargers for their car. Link at the top of the thread no longer works, ive found other instances of similar products that are either coming from sellers with little/no history or from China. Would like to find someone who has bought/sold a few of these can say if they are any good...

Ironically 2021 V60 models now have the option to have something pre-installed at factory, no sign of retrofit pack for older cars with the similar interior. Looks like you can control it through the settings interface.

Think we can get Volvo to make it an option on older cars??

I would love it if Volvo can get wireless as a retrofit option. Highly likely as it would incvolve some cabling but you never know..

I can categorically say that Volvo are not making the feature available for retro fit into older cars unfortunately. So if I want it, I am going to have to try out one of these Chinese 3rd party variations...

again any advise on current purchasing links for one of these, would be much appreciated! I don't want to waste my money or buy something that is going to catch fire!!

I bought mine from here in April. Have had no problems with it, charges my iPhone Xs with no issues. I think I paid $65 so a bit cheaper at the moment. Looks neat and everyone thinks it is a factory fit, even the Volvo dealer I bought it from thought it was great. Still manage to fit 2 cups in cupholder too.
