Default 21 Xc60: navigate to a phone contact

Hi all - first post from me so i hope somebody will have the answer to what i hope is a straight forward query.

The sensus navigation system should allow me to ask it to navigate to a contact in a connected phone. However, the system just says the contact's address can not be found on the map. The relevant extract from the handbook says contact addresses must be stored in the phone exactly as it is on the here maps data base - which they are. Regardless of how i mess around with the contact address ie deleting the post code or keeping it etc, the address can not be found on the map.

My phone is a samsung S9 and all other contact functions work in sensus ok ie making calls.

Has anybody else had this issue and managed to store contact details in a format that sensus can navigate to. Thanks

In my experience, navigating to a (new) address is very hit and miss (and mostly miss). I normally send destinations from the Volvo app and if I have to go to the same address again I retrieve it from the 'Recents' tab in Sensus.

However, one thing to check is that you've set the country to UK (assuming that's where you are).

Thanks for the suggestion. I think its set to uk, but i will check it is just in case. Ive posed the same question to volvo customer services. After two weeks i got in reply a link to the extract in the instructions i told them i had read but was unable to make it work. Ive asked again but in a more straightforward way. If i get a helpful reply i will post it. Thanks again.
