Xenon/HID's like halogen bulbs the light deteriorates with age, it can be less than 50% before they fail.
As said above try www.powerbulbs.co.uk - you might get them slightly cheaper on Amazon but powerbulbs are all genuine stock and have a no-quibble guarentee.

That is pretty good. I did the math on mine and that's about the expected lifespan - all depends on driving etc. But take your mileage and divide by average speed of 50kmph and you'll get the lifespan in hours.

At 8 years you’ve had your money’s worth so I would say that is the expected degradation in performance. Halfords also sell & fit them & were their usual helpful selves at not a bad price.

I’ve found the factory bulbs for £42 each.
The car’s done 120,000 miles so it’s not bad going. Cheers guys |

Reading this thread and thinking the same I'm looking at Nightbreaker Laser bulbs. Expensive at £150 a pair but you can't put a price on safety.
Before I bite the bullet has anyone used them or have other recommendations? Thanks
