Marmoset Senior Member Last Online: Feb 26th, 2012 13:12 Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Chester	Turbo Whistle Getting louder Just noticed that my turbo is now whistling a lot more, seems to whistle on the overrun as well. Usually happens in 2nd and 3rd gear when I'm on constant throttle at about 2000rpm (been doing this lots on the snowy lanes this weekend, maybe why I've only just noticed it - stereo's not been on much either!) Even my wife noticed it, so it's definitely not right. Is this a sign of impending doom? Car's just passed 130,000 miles and seems to drive okay, a bit more smoke perhaps. Not yet had a look under the bonnet, it's too dark and too cold! Cheers Rich
