Default 360 GLS mot

I have a 1984 360 gls, in very good nick for year less than 100k miles, just failed mot on bulbs, leaky front offside brake fluid, blowing exhaust, is it worth repairing to get through the mot, any ideas how much it may be worth with mot, vgc.

depends pretty much on 1 thing - does it have a b200 or a b19 engine? bulbs are pennies to fix, exhaust should be about £60 at a guess (thats roughly parts and labour for 1 section), brake fluid could be anything, but shouldnt cost *too* much to fix. tbh i doubt you'd be able to get rid of it without an mot.

its the b200 engine 21000 miles on the clock but i reckon its done about 66000, its clocking 1/3 of a mile for every 1 done, i have had it about 4 years and thats been pretty consistent, never got round to fixing it.

worth fixing then, as it'll run on unleaded. i'd put an ad on www.volvo300mania.com/forum2 if i were you - mk2 340s running unleaded are a rare and tresured thing. particularly if its a 3 door black :)

I might well be picking up a bulk-package of 300 series exhaust sections very shortly. Some new, some old, all cheap. Would be fine to get you through an MOT...

cheers

James
