Default EGR valve connectors?

Hi - I need some help please.
I have a 2006 XC90 2.4 D5 Diesel. 126k miles
I had the EGR valve changed recently after having the 'Engine System Service Required' and 'Soot Filter Full' warnings come on.

Work has been completed at a respected local garage. Everything looks good. However I have noticed a disconnected connector near the EGR valve (photo attached). Before I take it back to the garage I wanted to check if you can advise what it may be related to. I can't remember if it was already disconnected.

At the same time, there is also a disconnected connector on the right hand side in the engine bay which I think has always been disconnected. Can you let me know what that is related to?

Also the screen wash tube is visible, should this be routed somewhere.

Thanks!
