I signed the paperwork on Thursday while I was at the dealers. I'm such a tool! Never mind, I was actually fairly happy with the overall price to be honest it's just the latest rigmarole! Hoping for good news tomorrow

Good news anyway it's been accepted, eventually! Given the end of january to beginning of Feb for delivery but We'll see!

Seems kind of odd to be refused.

I'm over 70 so not normally eligible for finance but I was given 0% finance over 2 years and £750 cashback from Volvo to take it out. I doubt I have any kind of credit rating as I normally pay cash for everything.

I must admit it did surprise me that they refused as I've never been refused for finance before as I've always paid everything on time where I've had it. But salesman reckons it was a combination of the price of the car/monthly repayments and new regulations coming in next year. All sorted though which I'm very pleased about.
