If I had the money, it'd be mine already. Some day, I'll own a 242, and I'm damn well going to make it a 242GT replica too.

edit: just did some reading, apparently there were 600 or so RHD 242GTs made for the aussie market, so it is indeed a rare beast

I found an Aussie 242gt about 10 years ago. I could not save it myself but another club member did and it's now tucked away in very good hands. When Ilived in the US we had one of the first US spec 240 GLT estate which was fabulous. A friend had the later 240 Turbo Estate which could give a Saab 900 Turbo a headache in the right hands ( well I borrowed it once ! )
