Car alarm
Hello all,
The alarm on my 2002 V70 keeps going off randomly. Sometimes it is ok for weeks and then perhaps only half an hour. Have had to turn it off at night, as I don't need a smack in the mouth from angry neighbours. Has any body got any ideas before I put the car into a Volvo dealer for diagnosis. |

You can get this sort of fault when the car's secondary alarm battery starts to fail.

Yes, alarm siren battery leaking on the circuit board.... It leads to other random faults as well like sunroof not functioning!

Well, you can just unplug it & put up with the alarm service message every time you start the car!
