Default Part number

Does anyone have the correct part number for a lower engine gearbox mount bush
V70 D5 2005 185hp manual 6spd
Surely most if not all cars had the same one fitted but I’m getting various ones

for part numbers you can install VIDA on a PC at home and use it as a part number catalogue after entering your VIN, it's a very useful tool to have, even without the DiCE or VCX

as for the bracket I think most people just buy a whole new one because they're not massively expensive tbh

try ebay

various prices depending if you want volvo branded or not

personally though I might be wrong I don't really feel that genuine is really necessary in this instance

In respect of the D5 engine I'd be tempted to disagree - unless you are lucky, and the aftermarket manufacturers have copied exactly the original qualities of the bush material in the mount, you could find an unacceptable amount of vibration from the engine occurs. I did when I polybushed mine. After all,Volvo didn't spend millions on R & D just to give their staff something to do.So I'd be inclined to go for either genuine Volvo or one of the better aftermarket brands rather than the cheapest available on ebay.

Ah I missed that, certainly if diesel at the very least avoid the polybushed ones

I was thinking more along the lines of this one which looks like it has the normal rubber with the gaps in

it's cheap, and at least with this part you haven't got to do any real dismantling to get at it so it's no major loss of time or effort if it only lasts a couple of years.. that's all I meant really

I did put a genuine one one mine but it cost about £60 and I did wonder at the time, was that a bit overkill
