Hahahahhahaha

I do like to be different

I like the dish look for the Volvo and with a bit of a lowering

I have always used spacers - have 25mm on both smart cars

Indotn have a good staring point with dirty steelies and non branded wheel trims

So if I can get a good set of alloys for under £300 then whoop whoop

JJ

I have logged into that VW forum by mistake again!

IMHO there would be a much better chance of finding a good set of 5x108 alloys with a small offset for £300 than there would getting the wheel banding thing done for the same money.

:-)

Been trying

Been looking for ages

Not much deep dish wise

I like some of the Volvo 850 wheels

I am on the 5x108 FB group - lots of wheels …. Not much that suits the cars or me not without big spacers

IMHO these are perfect for under £300/set:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324666177...4AAOSwxp1gvxV-

... just a little bigger and wider that the standard wheels, they might not even need spacers.

The deep dish thing is for pizzas.

Those are ET50 though and only 6.5

They won’t come out anywhere near the arches

Might as well get wheel trims haha

Thanks though - I have been looking for over a month at new and used

So I have a rear boot electrical gremlin

The wiper won’t stop

Also something is awry as the brake light comes on and number plate lights go off if I move the boot lid a bit.

The rear wiring to the boot has been replaced but there is defo an issue because I can create a spark between the 2 sections of the hinge

I disconnected the wiper power and it returned to rest

I think potentially something failed on the wiper and it’s shorting back through the earth?

Thoughts?

All the wiring has been redone and was working fine until the wiper started going constantly

Can you link me to the whole thread as that’s just to the single post and I can’t navigate to the full thread from it

Ta

Defo a weird one he rear boot

I think what may have happened is that the wiper has failed and maybe is pushing power back through the bodywork

Unplugged the wiper and it’s working way better but I may try putting a new earth wire on each side
