Looks like a stunning T5R they have there!

I've emailed them a few times and have to say they've always replied within 12 hours and have been very efficient, unfortunately they always seem to quote more than my main dealer for either servicing or work (!) so haven't been to see them yet.

Hi Darren

Well your Main Dealer must be giving you a seriously preferential rate then! The Main Dealer rates I have come accross are all around £80 - £90 per hour and RT don't charge anything like this!

As for service levels..... All I can say is I have used RT Mechanics for the last 4 years and they have been nothing short of superb. Helpful and knowledgable and they have fixed issues that have had the Main Dealers scratching their heads. Also, if the majority of other Co's that I use day to day had a Customer Service attitude the same as the Guys at RT do, my life would be a whole load easier all round!

I have also recommended a few other members to use them and they all speak equally highly of the service and expertise they receive at RT.

Hi Ian,

I use Cambridge Garage Volvo in Havant for my main dealer, no idea of their labour rates - but their quote for an 84k service on my car was £50 less than RT. As it happened, they charged me less than the quote so it worked out even cheaper.

Most other local dealers (Hapstead, Kings) couldn't come anywhere near Cambridge in Havant. I would wholeheartedly reccomend them anytime - I always speak to Andrew on the service desk - top bloke.

Hi what you seem to forget is that we will service the car the correct way and not the volvo way ! You cannot make comments like this as you are not comparing a like for like service.The volvo service schedule is a joke as to what is changed/not changed.

We do the job correctly and never have complaints apart from you !
