Default Starter motor wiring dilemma....

Nearly finished a ton of work on my 1984 B23E-equipped estate including fitting a new ignition wiring harness from http://www.elbertbos.nl/index.php/en...engine-harness and went to start the old girl up yesterday and no-go! The loom itself is beautifully made and was cross-referenced correctly with the VIN so no problem there, I'm kicking myself however, that I didn't note the original positions of the three wires going to the starter solenoid.
The heavy red wire obviously connects to the threaded post on the solenoid but the other two female spade connectors have blue/yellow and brown wires going to them. I'm getting all the lights up on the dash but zero start when the key is turned. I guess my question is 1) does anyone have a similar set-up and can advise and 2) is there any risk if I swap the two spade connectors over apart from blowing a fuse? Many thanks!

I worked it out fairly easily as it turns out, referred back to the old harness/plug set-up and realised that the brown wires did in fact have a smaller-style female connector that matched the male spade connector on the solenoid, swapped them over and no worries, the estate turned over beautifully....(so bloody glad I didn't bin the old harness)

Blue / Yellow goes to your Jetronic Unit, brown to you coil. see attached diagram. Not sure the terminal locations are mad accurate but it'll give you a steer.

Edit: Sorry, didn't refresh the page!

Thanks Cap'n, the big issue for me is that on the solenoid itself there is no real indication of which terminal to attach to (well I thought there wasn't) so you still don't know which one the brown and the blue/yellow should be on if that makes sense.
It was only the fact that the brown terminal is the smaller crimp-on style spade connector that clinched it, what threw me was that the replacement harness had big connectors for both the colours but there was an adaptor in a zip-lock bag that I worked out allowed it to mate to the solenoid. Bit hard to describe in words but at least it worked and I didn't blow anything up in the process....Here's an image of the harness where you can see the connectors (to the right)
