That's an odd one...4drs usually have regular sized (or maybe Exec-sized) rear doors at the back with the 'blank' in the middle. Bit of a sad end for it....

thats got the rear doors of a proper executive, in a classic 4 door funeral car style.. never seen it exist in a 700 though would be nice to save that one too

Those doors are huge...they look longer than exec ones. Very strange car. The log book being sent off is quite a problem. Why would someone do that?

Over here you just apply for a new log book, same as appling for a duplicate, done it a few times with scrapers, got a 98 Skoda in the scrap yard, book sent in, no problems at all.

update:

the drive system is fixed. all thats left to do is put the interior in, drivers wing mirror and drivers wiper arm, front bumper mounts and paint... cars finished.
