When will MY25 be due

Hi
My XC60 is due for delivery in March 24 ( ordered in Sept) - as a matter of interest when do Volvo introduced new MY?

Typically the change of model year occurs in June, so MY25 cars will start to be built in June 2024.

Good question. They have been stuck on edition 4 of MY24 price lists for the 60 and 90 for a while. I'm hoping that with a slowing market MY25 will see the re-introduction of individual options on the lower spec cars as the Ultimate is full of stuff I don't want and won't pay for.

Agreed I wanted a sunroof but couldn't get one on a 'plus' and didn't want all the other options and high price of an Ultimate.

And this is exactly why I am out of the market for a new Volvo for the time being.

Lets hope Volvo UK read the forums. If I could order a Core with air suspension and a sunroof then I'll have another XC90. Otherwise I'm off to look at VW or Audi for my next car.

Don't Volvo add a couple more bits and bobs as standard as the years go by? I think my xc90 got acoustic glazing included, Maybe something they do more of as the model reaches its end of life?

In other brands like Jag they off your fixed glass roof for like 1.5k or opening pan roof for 3k on lower models, if Volvo did the same it'd bump you up to the next level model pricing structure so that is all they have done here I guess.

So a little over £3k extra over a B5 gets you in the T6 plus and you get the roof and of course a load of other stuff for that little bit extra, unless you are anti PHEV?

Strikes me as a better purchase for the bits?

Most people do the sums and/or don't like that the spec upgrades delete some items. I want a heated windscreen (unavailable of the Ultimate), like the more basic seats, don't want bling wheels with low profile tyres (I've got sports cars for that use) and don't like how the 4WD/electric only mode works on the plug ins. Therefore I just want to buy my car again basically.

I also think that once you are spending such a large amount of money, personalisation (to a degree) is nice. Porsche understand this.
