2005 volvo v70 2.4d auto

Just trying to get a idea of what people's thoughts are on this and what it is worth.
2005 2.4d, geartronic, I think the colour is moondust green.. So it's done 143000, full service history, cambelt done at 96k, 2x keys, full leather interior, electric windows, electric folding mirrors, both front seats electric, ac all working, 6 disc in dash radio, sat nav, telephone, and only 1 previous owner.. Body work is all in all good condition,.... Mot until December,..? Your thoughts would be appreciated... Ta
And it's for sale too.... I was thinking of £1450 ish... But honestly I don't know what diesels fetch..

Looks like a nice car. As you probably already know the auto gearboxes can be a weak point, and this can put some people off.
Difficult to price, used car market at the moment doesn't seem very buoyant. Best thing is to find similar on eBay which are for sale by 'auction' and see what they are fetching.
I would guess around £1,800 - £2,200, but I could be wrong!

Absolutely aware of the auto box, I've had many with problems... I've found a similar car, same year similar spec and colour but with 243k going for 900.. Bit there is a lot of difference between the mileages....

it might be willow green. i bought the same model in silver for 2k 2years ago i dont think your too far away on price. go and have a good long test drive to get the gear box up to temp this will show up faults if there are any. good luck with your prospective purchase

All works as it should... Seems good to me.. But I've never had a diesel auto, but there are no lights on the dash, goes into gear well and through all the manual gears also..

I've already bought it... And not a detriment to the car i just not a fan of diesels... And yes why did I buy...! Impulse... Good spec, good history, but I miss my petrol

Give it a chance and more importantly fill the fuel tank to the brim and see how far you go compared to a petrol.

Don't get me wrong a T5 is a truly wonderful thing but a D5 is also a bloody good diesel.
