Default Suspension Question

Just a quick question I've heard that golf mk 4 suspension fits the volvo 440
Just wondered if this is true? Is anyone running on this set up?

I've seen both and the two are nothing like other than maybe the rear springs

That'll be mine then lol, yeah i have rear coilover springs off a mk4 golf on the back of mine without the adjusters.
the black thing inside the spring that holds it in place needs trimming down a little so it fits inside the mk4 golf spring but yeah they fit.

So... what's the point? Thare are quite a few lowering springs available for 400 series. Front suspension is totally different so you won't get a coilover.

Well the point is to lower it obviously, and the only springs I can find are 35mm lower and imo that's not worth bothering with.
As for front coilovers,I'm in the process of building my own set so the front will be sitting a lot lower soon enough
