Default is this good value?

My dealer is offering me 4 Balder 17" alloys with Nokian winter tyres for a shade over £1200. Is this good value?

This is all about the value of the alloys not the tyres. You will be on bigger tyres than me but I could get Nokian winters from Openeo for £83 each delivered. I suspect 17" ones will be about £90. You are then paying about £800 for a set of alloy wheels.

Is that good value depends on your opinion of the value of alloy wheels. Personally I would not get them but I drive a DRIVe version car deliberately on 16" wheels, you may care a little more than me about wheel appearance!

To put it in persepective 4 x winter tyres only (pirelli sottazero I think) fit, change and store offered in tyre hotel at £700 in 235/40R18 Y 95 size from local main dealer, which I think is good as these tyres are around the £220 mark each supply only.

The speed rating I think on the winters is lower,(V) although why Y rated is needed as original spec in the first place is beyond me!!

Regards
