Default V70 odometer - reading too high

Hi all, just bought a 2002 V70 D5. So far delighted. However one strange thing, a journey that I have done for years in several cars and always registered 120 miles door-to-door, is now 125 in the V70! Is this a fault I should take up with the dealer, or are they "all like that Sir"??

Any advice greatly appreciated.

All odometers overead, usually varying from 4% to 8%, so the difference you describe is well within these parameters.

Yeah, I noticed mine was about 5% high on both speed and distance/odo when compared to GPS measurements.

Thinking of winding the clock back from 100k to 95k so as to give more accurate mileage when I come to sell it ;-)
