Default C70 Debadge?

I have just debadged my "other" car (a BMW 540) and this got me wondering whether to debade the C70 Convertible *(soft version 2002).

I can't make up my mind whether to do it or not... so I thought I would ask the assembled experts.... so

Badge or No-badge... whaddya think?

Tough call. Would you take all the badges off the car or just the C70 part?

BMW 540 - Nice. Is it the 4.4 ?

Just the C70 part... I think... hmmm taking of the Volvo from the centre as well... This all started because when I had the PPC upgrade from BSR, the garage put the BSR chrome on the back... and we finally decided that it looked really silly

Yeah. The 540i on the back made it a bit of a magnet for
a) People at the lights
b) Nova-kids wanting to know all about the engine
c) (potential) thieves.

Now it is debadged, it looks like a regular 520 (apart from the tyres), until I put my foot down

Personally, I like the subtle approach effect of de-badging cars. If Mouthy had just been a T5 I probably would've taken all badge off the back

Our 855 T5 is debadged - but it was like this from new.

I've debadged a bit. removed "Volvo" and "V70", leaving the "R" with "AWD" underneath. Felt the tailgate looked quite cluttered before, much better now. Am still thinking of removing the rest too.

Am also thinking of removing the roof rails as part of the declutter strategy.

(not sure that a yellow (is that Gul?) T5-R can ever be described as subtle, with or without badges!)
