Whats happening with that website? I have bought tyres from them for years. I typed in 225 45 17 (am sure that's the right size for my 60) and there were only about 7 choices. Last time i bought tyres there were pages and pages of tyres. What's going on?

You did remember to select the "summer tyre" option, didn't you?

Otherwise you'll only get about 7 "all season" tyres!!!

Hi,

In your search select the size and also pop the speed up to 149 AND select "Summer"

Pages of them then...

im in 2 minds.... im catching the train to work next month so i hope the tyres will last till then. and i may keep the car until the end of winter, so i know the train is gonna work out for me. be gutted to sell the car and think the train aint right for me!

unless i had a really good offer for the car, then i really would consider selling now. i think i should give the train a few months to see if i get on with it.

Has anyone found MyTyres much cheaper once they have had the tyres fitted? I have shopped around quite a bit when getting tyres and it's a pretty close run thing once you pay for the tyres and then pay for fitting. Also Black Circles are quite cheap but there are plenty of trye dealers that will match or even beat their prices if you ask them?

funny you should say that,
I ordered 2 tyres from mytyres last year and they said the tyres weren't in the country and were being sent in from Germany, 10 days later they arrived,

I get my tyres on Ebay now, some sellers run car tyre wheel shops and will fit for free if you can get the car to them,

Gary.

PS Been looking at the Kuhmo tyres and i can get them at £105 a pair for my Comets, mytyres want way more than that.

Choose a quiet afternoon when the boss isn't around- flash a brown drinking note and the fitters will do it on the side... don't ask for a receipt!! lol
