Default What Steering Oil?

After a wasted trip to my nearest Volvo dealer (a round trip of 1.5 hours!) to get some power steering fluid. I was told the type depended on the colour of the sealing washer on the lid. Despite having chassis number etc. I didn't have the car with me so came away empty handed!

My question is can I buy suitable oil from Halfords? I have a 2002 (02) V70.

Thanks,
Bob

Thanks.

In the end called into another Volvo dealer I was passing whilst going on a work call.

Very helpful and had no problem identifying the oil. That year only used this oil.

Thanks for your help
Bob

PS yes it is green!
