Default Eiker E1 group buy

Looking into the possibility of doing a group buy on the Eiker E1 wheels. Aiming to try and get them shipped at about £800 per set of 4 as opposed to £1100. shipped in qtys of 4 or 8 sets approx. would need a reasonable deposit to make it a goer....

Default £800?

I could not justify £800. Struggling to justify the cost of modding some VIrgos and/or furbing some Galaxies at the moment. What about ex-works - we could organise a club run over there? 4 * 9 series estates with the boots flat - loadsawheels!

as per my post in the forum it is looking like they would be much cheaper than that. If you have looked at the cost of the ferry you will know that a club run is out of the question. I am now aiming sub £700 but until I get some interest it is a bit tricky to guage what I can get them for with the shipping. I am considering taking my van over there to guarantee they don't get damaged.... but the ferry cost is about £1000 and that is just to get to denmark, there is another ferry required to get to Oslo

Default Location of wheels

I would strongly suggest driving up to Scandanavia,it works out much much
cheaper than taking the North Sea ferry route. I travel regularly to Sweden
& would NEVER consider using the Harwich-Denmark route.
Where exactly is the supplier of the wheels located ????

Hi Spesmea,
I have done the drive route and the now discontinued Newcastle-Kristiansand boat trip. The supplier is a bit west of Oslo.

Others: This is now looking good, I have enough people to have a good stab at getting the best price. the only issue left is going to be VAT&duty

Update for you all:

In short we need more people to get the price down. I will be putting this through my business in order to get the norwegian VAT removed, but UK vat is still payable on entry + 3% customs charge for wheels. I am currently at £900 for a set of 4 at my premises inc vat
