38, Volvo V70 auto 2.4 N/A

previously.. a few BMW 3's, an Impreza, some fords, a vauxhall or two, a little stripped out screamer of a 16v 1.3 honda civic where you didn't even need to slow down to turn corners lol

generally prefer older cars (particularly fast fords) as they just have better styling. prefer handling over horsepower. dream car, probably an escort cosworth or an rs200

then I had kids.. so now I prefer strength / safety / reliability over everything else

I’m 48 and have a 1994 850 t5, a 2010 S80 and a 2011 C30 t5 with a polestar remap that goes like stink.
When I find the C70 that catches my eye the my Saab 93 convertible will be getting changed so I guess you can say I know what I like.
Always had a soft spot for Volvo which started when I was working in a garage when I left school training as a spray painter and we had a 740 in which was one of the first family cars I’d seen with a turbo.

Hi, age 69 I just got my first Volvo, an XC90, after 30 years of BMWs. Loving the look and feel of the vehicle but missing the 6 cylinder twin turbo engine! Still grappling with all the systems- it’s more like getting a new phone and new computer on the same day than getting a new car.
