Default Heater Blower

I have a 2017 XC90 and have experienced the dreaded sunroof drain water issue. There was a lot of water under the carpet, just on the passenger side. It affected the moduale that controls the back up camera and blind side assist. Currently I have the carpet removed, the car drained and a new modula purchased. But there is another issue. The heater blower has a mind of its own. There is heat blowing out, no issue with the digital display, but the blower speed changes randomly. I’m assuming something has gotten wet…what could it be and where is it located? Thanks in advance for the help

Do you mean the speed setting increases or does the setting remain the same but the blower increases and reduces. If the later that is how it is supposed to work when "auto" climate is selected. If blower setting is altering there is a problem.
