Unhappy Big end seized and burned to toast

Drama with my 2005 S80 2.0T5. After lots of maintenance and new synthetic oil plus filter change, another oil leakage from the intake VVT hub resulted in oil starvation for cylinder 4&5 big-ends. They burned out completely causing the engine to scream like a pig in the slaughterhouse..... No errors, nothing, just happened in seconds.
Bad damage to the crank and rods. I fear a write-off completely. If only the crank can be taken out while the engine remains in the car I would consider rebuilding it. But I have no other means and will be too expensive I guess.

Ideas are welcome!
Thanks so much
