Default aeriel booster??

Hi,

I have done a search on this, but no results. I want to replace the stereo in my 850 estate. The owners manual says that the aeriel (which is built into the rear side window) will not work without an aeriel booster. The manual seemed to indicate that the booster is built into the radio. So, if I buy a new radio, will I need to check to see if it has an aeriel booster fitted? or are they standard features of all radios these days??

Thanks,
Donal.

Thanks,
Donal.
my understanding was that the aerial signal booster is located in the side panel on the n/s/r under the aerial fillament itself....
i would therefore expect that any radio system would be appropriate...
cheers
