What are these alloys called?
Hello all. I've recently bought these 17" alloys off Ebay for use on my 62 plate V70 R Design in the winter with winter tyres. Now then, two questions, what are they called and what size tyres can I put on them. I'm thinking something a bit taller and narrower than the 245/40 R18s I currently run.

hi
have a look at the accessories pages ( http://accessories.volvocars.com/Acc...ent/VCC-463596 ) to see what Volvo would fit to that wheel size on your vehicle... and a tyre size calculator will give an idea of any outside diameter difference. But as Thanatos says you have a different offset - on the wheels you have acquired this will move the outer edge of the rim outwards by about 6mm from your current 18" rim position (i have no idea if this is acceptable) and it may be possible to take up the difference in hub centre size with a set of hub centre rings - this has worked for me in fitting some Ph2 rims to my Ph3 for winter use. regards |

The 2 tyre options for 17" is 225/50R17 and 245/45R17 depending on the wheel width.
