I watched it ,sad to say.
Dreadful, felt sorry for the punter who had to fork out for it. (or did I?) I think they did something with a Merc in Albania , paid stupid money for a respray that looked like it was done with a slurry tanker. All their cars should come with a Government Health Warning.

A bloke wants to sell a car but instead of giving useful info to prospective buyers, he just tells them to watch the telly. If he's that lazy when trying to make money, how much effort did he put into taking care of the actual product?
Even though I shouldn't be surprised by anything on ebay, the quality of ads seems to decline by the week.

Dude could have posted the entire script from the show, it wouldn't help:
The non standard engine disqualifies it from historic status, which was about the best thing it had going for it. The paintwork needs redoing lest the local yobs finish the job, and god knows whatever hideous bodges they've had to employ... Non historic, non-redblock, needs a paintjob.... Give him £1000 tops for the MOT'd rolling chassis, he can stick the engine back in some blown Geely ifhe wants. |

Some Landy advertising mentioning “tax exempt “ is ridiculous, no way acceptable. I don’t think there’s much checking, not that , that is the point!

Will be interesting to see what it makes and if it hits that elusive reserve.

Sadly, it'll be de-engined for the Delorean crowd and in all probability scrapped: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185555697009 you don't see redblocks going for that sort of money! Last edited by BicycleBoy; Sep 6th, 2022 at 20:07. |

Nothing stopping you retrofitting one to a volvo lump, if you're so inclined. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165652848054 ...although the extra mass of the Volvo car means you'd have to go a lot faster than 88mph, which could be a problem. Last edited by BicycleBoy; Sep 6th, 2022 at 20:42. |

Probably need to get it up to 90mph to cope with the extra mass (what little extra there is) but using a slightly different flux capacitor might help. I kid you not, someone has been experimenting with ionic propulsion and they've found good antigravity properties using something they call a flux capacitor - looks nothing like three halogen secuirty light tubes arranged in a Y shape, more of a traditional capacitor shape. If the antigravity could be made to work on the Volvo, the mass would effectively be reduced so only 88mph would be needed - easily done in 2nd gear.
